And then our destination was Harbourfront Station...Will post some group photos when I get from the photographer...

Will go for the walk again...towards the Kent Ridge direction or from one end to another...Hoho...

It's July soon!!!

It's been a long time since I've blogged...

I've got quite a lot to write actually, but bits n pieces...dunno how to link them...

19 Jun marks my 3rd anniversary with my company...going into my 4th yr here...

Work has been non-stop since I joined the new branch...which is good and bad...

My partner is changing her portfolio wef 1 Jul, and my new partner will come in on 20 Jul, I think...same age as me, so I hope I can get along with her...

It's quite sad (I cant think of another word to replace sad) that my current partner is changing portfolio, from people development to people management...though we're still in the same branch, it's different ma...cos she has been a nice boss for these few months...giving me encouragement and always willing to guide me...so it's a pity that we could only work tog for such a short period of time...

Went Hort Park on 19 Jun for department's World Cafe Forum, where there were questions to be discussed and after every round, participants have to swap table...First time going Hort Park...It's a nice place...You can consider that place for taking wedding photos or ROM ceremony... :)

Went for Southern Ridges Walk on 26 Jun with colleagues as Staff Welfare event...walked from Hort Park to Harbourfront Station...quite a fast walk, we took 1.5hrs...Will attempt the whole stretch next time...Anyone interested?

I'm super broke...ever since I came back from HK...I had to pay $100 to ICA...and with GSS...shop n shop...n last mth's credit card bill came...then yest attended wedding dinner...think I'm left with nothing much to spend till the next payday, which is like 13 days away!!! Hope I'll spend wisely during these 13 days...Hoho...

Oh ya, talking abt HK, I've not blogged abt it yet...Photos have been uploaded on FB...Will try to blog on HK trip & Southern Ridges Walk soon...getting lazy these days....ooppsss....

Today, I just realise that Asia is actually so big, it includes countries like Qatar and Jordan! Lucky I didn'r major in Geo during JC/Uni...haha...

Looking fwd to Sep/Oct...hopefully it'll really happen...hehe...

oh ya..n i wanna save for a DSLR too!!! so cool!!! I wanna use it to take nice pictures...

My wardrobes are bursting soon!! I wanna find lobangs to sell my old clothes/bags...any ideas? or any info on weekend flea markets?

Oh ya...I received a weird email from my ex-boss on fri evening...dunno why me...will find a chance to blog abt it when I get to find out from her...hee...

Okie...I shall stop here and continue to draft email...Ciao!

The Buffet, M Hotel
27th May 09

Went to The Buffet @ M Hotel for Steamboat Buffet Dinner to "celebrate" Yuni's and my birthday...Hoho...early celebration for Yuni this yr, cos I was at HK on her bday.

This is our steamboat dinner for the 3rd time this yr, we really love steamboat huh...haaa...Heard about this hotel on Channel 8's buffet variety show and decided to try out since there is UOB promo. The usual price is $38++. UOB credit cards has 20% discount, so each person paid around $35. Think the promo will end in Jun/Jul.

Here are some pics taken....

The drunken prawns corner...Chef will prepare for you...2 prawns in each serving...You can take as many servings as you want...Haha...
The wide variety of seafood...Pompfret!! (err...did i spell correctly?) Can you imagine...hahaha...I put it into the tom yum soup base to cook...hahaha...
Their Yong Tau Foo, various balls and mushrooms. There're a few kinds of noodles available also...Didn't capture too many pics. Too hungry le...hohoho....
There are 2 soup base, think we chose Chicken and Tom Yum. There are chinese herbs for us to take and put into the soup too. Hee...
And of cos, there are desserts too...Cakes, Ice-Cream, Durian Paste and Chocolate Fondue...Though I think we didn't eat much. We were super full la...dunno why...maybe the soup ba...The food was quite nice overall. However, I think it's too dark there...haaa...can't see too clearly... :p

Present exchange time...Hoho...
I gave Yuni a collage and a pair of earrings from Angelicious Creations. They have nice earrings, but they're super ex (i think). I just realise I didn't take a pic of the earrings... :(

Here's what Yuni gave me...What's inside...??

Hoho...The Chef's Planning Kit... :p Cute ya...It's packaged so nicely that I will 不舍得 use...Haa

My 25th Birthday

I'm back from HK!!! But before i blog abt the trip, I still have a few overdue posts....Hoho....

Had a great time celebrating my bday over the weekend (erm...2 wks ago?)...eat n eat...fat fat now...

Met up with Kaisi, Shuhui and Meiyin on 23rd May for Lunch and Ktv @ Liang Court. Tried the italian-style japanese restaurant at Saizeriya, located at Level 2, Liang Court. The food is decent and the service is not too bad. And best of all, it's super value for money!!! 4 of us only spent around $40 if i remember correctly. Each of us had a main course and we ordered a plate of drumlets to share. And if you pay $2+, you will have free flow of drinks.

Some photos from Saizeriya

Photos from KTV

Presents from the girls - I love them! (the girls and the presents...hoho)

In the evening, went home for dinner and had the cake cutting ceremony as usual. :p One of my favourite cake - Chocolate Cake from Lana.
My sis calls me Molly, since this yr? cos of my mole...so she requested "Happy Birthday Molly" to be written on the cake instead. And this is the surprise I was suppose to get from her...haa...

On 24th May, went Sakura International Buffet at Clementi Woods for lunch with family and shopping at Marina Sq after that. Did not take any photos of the food this time since I went before le...Hee...

Random Shots...

新海山海鲜餐馆

Went to 新海山海鲜餐馆 at Tiong Bahru with colleagues after work for dinner yesterday. It a Cze Char restaurant near the Tiong Bahru market. Those who were present....*drums roll....

Lenice and her Ben Dan

Deon and SY

Elaine and Paul
The dishes that we ordered include:

Stir Fried Dou Miao - But this doesn't look or taste like dou miao to me at all. So different from the one i ate at ding tai feng.
Cereal Prawns - One of my favourite dish, and this is nice... :)

Hotplate Tofu - I like this too. My all-time favourite. Hoho

Pork Ribs - A bit disappointed with this dish. Maybe because the meat too thin le...Haa...And this cost $18, if i remember correctly, quite ex ya.

Shrimp Paste Chicken - I like this too! Think they use half a chicken and fried it. Yummy. It's always nice to eat shrimp paste chicken when it's sizzling hot. Hoho...
We ordered a plate of seafood bee hoon to share. Forgot to take a close up of the dish. So here's a pic with the bee hoon. Haa...And our Ms Ker serving the bee hoon very professionally. :p Oh, the bee hoon is nice ya...And there are quite a lot of ingredients in it. So quite worth the $8. Hoho.

Before Dinner...

SY had warned me to beware what she's giving me...Hoho...I thought it was sth scary...Haa...

And it turns out to be....mian bao!! Hahaha...(Thanks to Chang Dou, i got the nickname mian bao, cos of my name, fa guo mian bao. So now quite used to this name le. Haa)

Besides the mian bao, there's also a keyboard cleaner and pooh hp holder. Hoho...Thanks babe! :)

And here's the gift from my wonderful colleagues...Hee...Jigsaw World Vouchers!! Yay!!! I can buy new jigsaw...Heeheee

"Life is like a box of chocolates...

...You never know what you're gonna get."

Life is so unpredictable. I was supposed to attend a colleague's wedding dinner today, but something happened in his wife's family. And they had to cancel it. Was shocked and sad to hear the news from him. Just hope that they are doing well now. Treasure your love ones while you can.
